Srisuwan Janya, a lawyer active in areas of constitutional law, said on Wednesday that he will accompany 84 vendors affected by the eviction order to file a complaint with the Administrative Court on Thursday, and seek an injunction against its enforcement. The eviction order applies to 163 vending stalls accused of trespassing, but more than 100 Thai-style stalls in the same compound were spared, Mr Srisuan said. The 84 vendors believed the Ayutthaya governor and two other officials were discriminating against them, which was unconstitutional, he said. Ayutthaya governor Sujin Chaichumsak warned on Tuesday that if the trespassing vendors were not removed, Ayutthaya park might be removed from Unesco's World Heritage list.
